Actually, I did try and fix the underlying causes of the problem but in the end I decided that it was just going to be easier to start again and be more selective on what I install.</description>

		<description>Personally, I find reading about installing windows about as interesting as watching paint dry.... However, I did find my day was lightened somewhat by the chuckle I had at the &quot;I took IE off then couldn&#039;t download its replacement&quot; comment. Seems your aversion to Microsoft products is becoming a phobia...

Perhaps the experience could have included one additional lesson learnt...
4) Sometimes its quicker (and more educational) to fix the fault rather than trash the lot and rebuild.
